Andy McWain Ensemble: Resemblance

The latest project by the Andy McWain Ensemble: RESEMBLANCE (fuller street music, fsm 3146) has been released as mp3's on cdBaby, and Apple iTunes, and soon on a number of other digital download sites. This project features music from two separate recording sessions: one with Assif Tsahar (tenor sax/bass cl), Albey Balgochian (elec upright bass), and Chris Poudrier (dr/perc) with Andy McWain on acoustic piano; and another session with Sofia Koutsovitis (voc), Rick Britto (sax). Jeremy Udden (sax), David Landoni (acoustic bass), and Chris Poudrier (dr/perc) with Andy McWain on elec piano...) VERY Soon! Recorded, Mixed and mastered at three studios around Massachusetts, this will be a digital distribution/digital download-only project.

New TRINE CD in November 2007!

BIO: Kevin Frenette has performed and/or recorded with such artists as Tatsuya Nakatani, Andy McWain, Jonathan LaMaster, Andrew Hickman, Eric Platz, Todd Keating, Erik VanDam and Gabe Cabral. He holds a BA in Theory/Composition from UMass-Dartmouth and has performed throughout the Northeast US. Kevin currently works with the quartet SRUTI (with Keating, VanDam and Cabral), and has recently debuted a new ensemble with Keating, LaMaster, Hickman and Platz. Kevin is also a freelance recording engineer.
